For private practice clients, I do not accept any insurance nor am I on any insurance providers lists. Services may be partially or fully covered by your health insurance or employee benefit plan, depending on your out of network benefits.

 I recommend calling your insurance company and inquiring directly about your coverage for out of network mental health provider coverage.

Upon request, I can provide a monthly statement (typically called a “Superbill”) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

 

Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

• What is my deductible and has it been met?

• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

• What is the coverage amount per therapy session for out of network providers?

• Is approval required from my primary care physician?
